Joonas Holmén + The Lossy Codecs - Nothing Does Matter CD

Alt-rocker Joonas Holmén seems to think so—at least when said six-string shenanigans meet contemplative lyrics. On his newest album Nothing Does Matter—following Sunshine and Someone to Hold (2014) and Sterner Stuff (2018)—Holmén's search for meaning continues. Drawing inspiration from ’90s icons like Dinosaur Jr. and Radiohead, while weaving in modern production and ethereal art-rock textures akin to Danish indie giants Mew, Holmén pits one thing against another and discovers: when comparing what is and what might be, even nothing does matter.
